Privacy Policy

The short version: KaDing! does not collect, store or share any personal information. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
This policy explains how the KaDing! app (“KaDing!”, “the app”) handles information. KaDing! is made by Yuanzhong Ou, an independent developer (“we”, “us”).
Information we collect
None. KaDing! does not ask for your name, email, age, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. It has no sign-up or login, and it does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools.
What stays on your device
To let you pick up where you left off, the app saves your game progress and settings on your device only. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Purchases
KaDing! is free to download. The full Adventure mode can be unlocked with a one-time purchase, which is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple only gives us anonymous, combined sales reports. Parents can require approval for purchases with Apple’s Ask to Buy and Screen Time features.
Device features
KaDing! uses a few built-in features of your device. They run on the device and do not send information to us:
- Voice prompts use your device’s built-in text-to-speech.
- Vibration feedback uses your device’s haptics.
- The share sheet opens only when you choose to share something, and you decide where it goes.
Test versions
Pre-release test versions of KaDing! may keep an anonymous gameplay log on the device to help us improve the game. It contains no personal information, is never uploaded automatically, and is only shared if a tester chooses to send it using the share sheet.
Children’s privacy
KaDing! is designed for children and their families. Because the app collects no personal information, it does not collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If a parent or guardian contacts us by email, we use that email address only to reply and do not keep it longer than needed.
Your choices
Since we do not hold any personal information about you or your child, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question or request, please email us and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how KaDing! handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change ever involves collecting new information, we will update the policy before that change goes live.
